taskr

Privacy policy

Effective October 3, 2026

In short: we don't collect your data. taskr has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Your group's lists, tasks, people, pictures and money records live on your own devices. When they sync between your devices, they're end-to-end encrypted, so nobody else, including us, can read them.

What stays on your devices

Everything you put in taskr: your group and its people (names, initials, pictures), lists, tasks, schedules, and money records (allowances, goals, amounts). It's stored on each device in your group and nowhere else in readable form.

How syncing works

Notifications

To let your devices know when something changes, the mailbox keeps each device's Apple push token and sends a silent push through Apple's push notification service (it carries no content). taskr shows notifications such as "Morning started" from the data on your device. Turn notifications off at any time in Settings.

Permissions

What we don't do

We don't sell or share data, show ads, use analytics or tracking, build profiles, or keep logs of who uses taskr. The mailbox server doesn't record IP addresses.

Children

taskr is for households, and everyone in one may use it. Because we don't collect personal information from anyone, we don't collect it from children. A person's name and picture in your group stay on your group's devices.

Deleting your data

Delete taskr from a device and that device's copy of your group is gone. To stop a device syncing with your group, remove it in Menu › Devices. Your group's sealed mailbox on our server is deleted automatically after 90 days without use.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and its date. Important changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
